This influential position will drive expansion across major industrial and energy markets, delivering complex project and workforce solutions through a well-established international client network.
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Leader with experience in the Energy, Industrial, or Technical Staffing sectors who can manage regional markets, major client portfolios, and complex project-based work. This role is ideal for those ready to take on significant strategic influence across North East Asia. Our client, a global technical staffing organisation with a strong presence across Asia, is recruiting a Director to drive growth in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and the wider North Asia region. The position focuses on strengthening existing client relationships, opening new markets, and shaping regional commercial strategy while ensuring effective delivery across multiple sectors.
What You’ll Do
✅ Lead and execute the Business Development and Commercial Strategy across North East Asia
✅ Identify, develop, and secure new project opportunities across key energy sectors
✅ Oversee regional bid activity, pricing strategy, and major proposal submissions
✅ Collaborate closely with APAC leadership, recruitment delivery, operations, and global shared services to ensure high-quality service across all projects
What We’re Looking For
✔ Proven senior-level experience in Business Development, Commercial Management, or Regional Leadership
✔Strong background in Energy, Industrial, Engineering, or Technical Services markets
✔ Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities across multiple countries
✔ Comfortable in a highly client-facing role with frequent regional engagement
✔ Strong communicator who thrives in cross-cultural, cross-functional environments
✔ Collaborative and people-focused leadership style, working closely with teams across APAC
✔ Recruitment or manpower solutions experience is an advantage, but not essential
